Shaun Perkins, a member of the National Storytelling Network and co-founder of Mayes County Storytellers, is an experienced storyteller, poet, teacher, and workshop presenter at the state and national levels. She specializes in stories about Oklahoma wildflowers and mythology from around the world. She often uses an African drum (djembe) or a Middle Easten drum (doumbek) when storytelling. She charges an hourly fee for her services.
